Eric (Van) Roberts...or at
least he should be called.
The artistry
of his musical hero, Eddie Van Halen, is matched by few.
Eric immersed himself in music early on, picking up the
guitar and beginning the long journey towards playing like
Eddie, and playing like himself. He is a catalog of music;
his range of play is sometimes staggering, even for the rest
of the band.
Eric has been
surrounded by music for his entire life, dad having been a
long-time member of the Johnny Holm Band. Being dipped and
soaked in the ways of the band, Eric brought his picked-up
skills and natural ability to the Blind Pigs.
Don't expect
to see a great show out of Eric every time,
but expect to hear a great show out of Eric
every time. Whether beside a campfire with an
acoustic, or outdoors plugged in for thousands, Eric Roberts
is the guitarist of choice.
