Modest ambition, with a side
of strange...
Mark's
combination of background vocals and bass playing make him
the right choice for the Blind Pigs. Mark was brought up
listening to dad sing with the Johnny Holm Band. For over
28 years, he sang amazing background vocals, and Mark
listened.
These days,
Mark is returning the gift through background vocals,
playing Dad's old bass, and the occasional lead. Mark also
writes music on the side, mostly with the help of others.
Mark taught
himself bass when he was 16 or so, listening to CDs in the
basement. He's a karaoke nut, hitting dead on target with
The Doors, Neil Diamond, Simple Minds, and most any others
you throw at him. You wouldn't expect his voice; hell, you
wouldn't expect to see a skinny little dweeb on stage in the
first place, but he pulls it off like he lives there. He's
good like that.
